When better to teach your children French than when planning for or during a trip? The books above are are recommended 'starter' books for children learning some basic French vocabulary.

and for the adults

...this was the book from many available that really got us started when we first moved to France. A very good refresher or starter point.

...and then we progressed to this book. More advanced than the 'Living French' book and also very clearly explained and easy to follow.

The two books above were lifesavers for us during our first couple of years in France.
